Films, movie stars and tooth bleaching

Tooth bleaching has become the norm for celebrities, film stars and movie stars of today to look good in front of the camera.  Appearance and glamour is everything, and anyone who doesn’t have the perfect set of teeth in Hollywood on the red carpet, can find themselves severely criticised in the press.  Looking the part in Hollywood is essential, it is this that keeps the big movie contracts coming in for most stars.  Stars that are aging, have found themselves having treatment to keep themselves looking young, bleaching of teeth is one of the measures which many celebrities go to.  It is rumoured that the likes of Joan Rivers, Cher, Liz Hurley, Ronan Keating and Cliff Richard have all had work done to their teeth to keep them looking young.  For the likes of people like Demi Moore who is rumoured to have spent literally thousands of dollars on plastic surgery, tooth bleaching (Zähne bleichen)  is just a walk in the park, and necessary.

Tom Cruise is one such celebrity who has had work done on his teeth, as a child his teeth were an issue, in Days of Thunder and Top Gun, Tom certainly did make the ladies swoon, and his smile was all part of the appeal, although his smile then, would not be considered perfect now.  Since his early film career Tom Cruise is rumoured to have had further dental work done to ensure that his smile is perfect….and perfect it now is.

In the mid 1990’s when Oasis were at the peak of their success in the British charts, Noel Gallagher’s teeth weren’t really an issue, but as the years of rumoured drug abuse begin to take there toll Noel Gallagher with his celebrity status really had no option but to have something done.  It is thought that Noel has possibly had some teeth whitening and surgery done to improve his once rotten teeth.

Another great British star who was originally founded on reality television show – ‘Pop Stars the Rivals’, Cheryl Cole, or Cheryl Tweedy as she was known back then, has also taken the step of having her smile improved.  With the pressure on all stars to look perfect, it is thought that Cheryl has not only had her teeth whitened but appears to have porcalin veneers attached to the teeth.

Katie Price has also opted for porcalin veneers, and has made no secret of this fact.
